Summary
This article tackles Latvia’s approach to industry regulation, touching upon its historical origins and evaluating the current legislation. Despite regulatory efforts, which commenced in 2015, a thorough framework is absent since 2020. The article stresses the necessity of legal clarity, questions the application of penalties linked to public order disturbance to industry-related offenses.
