Summary
Youth work is one of the autonomous functions of local governments included in the Local Government Law. In order for the autonomous function to be performed in full and for the understanding of the youth work to be shared, it is necessary to know the scope of the function. The article gives an insight into local government practice on the performance of the autonomous function and provides an average standard of performance. Furthermore, the author explores the separation of autonomous functions and aspects of responsibility within the scope of the autonomous function.
