The University of Latvia Press

The University of Latvia Press (UL Press) was founded on July 1, 2004, as the structural unit of the University of Latvia. The aim of the UL Press is to publish scientific and scholarly literature and study materials according to international standards. The UL Press also publishes informative and advertising brochures and publications of popular science; these activities contribute to the image of the University of Latvia and attract interest of the students and partner institutions. The UL Press complies with the legislation of the Republic of Latvia, including the Law on Press and Mass Media, Law on Education, and other normative legislation. The UL Press ensures the quality of its publications by employing highly qualified scientific and literary editors and layout designers and by working in cooperation with the scientific editorial boards of the University of Latvia.
